Carl Hastings, previously employed
by Smith Chevrolet and Sam Dixon Motor Sales,
established Hastings Automotive on S. Wagoner
St. in July of 1973.
In January 1975 the current service facility was
purchased from Luke Anthony. That same
year, technician, Dave Bretz joined our
staff and still remains with us.
April, 1977 saw the addition of our auto dealer
license and used car display area. We
continued the auto and truck service.
Summer of 1992 we were incorporated and changed
our name to Hastings Auto Sales, Inc. That
same year we purchased the Spencer's Drive In property and
expanded our display area.
In December, 1995, Harold Fiely, a technician
and service manager at Ron Garrett Chevrolet for
13 years, purchased a portion of Hastings Auto
Sales, Inc.
